We’ve now hit 6 of 16 pages for Thelbe Jack #1, and every line feels closer to what I’ve seen in my head all these years.

And let me just say… the latest page has a dog. That’s all I’ll reveal for now.

The cover art has taken a bold new turn. we’ve pivoted hard into the mythpunk direction, and I’m thrilled with where it’s heading. It finally feels like the world we’ve been building.

As for the Kickstarter:

Targeting mid-August or early September

(Word is that post-summer tends to perform better and we’re aiming to launch with as complete a package as possible.)

I’ve been building toward this moment for a long time.

The Horsemen system is one of the oldest pillars in Ashveil’s lore, and now we begin to tell their stories—starting with the oldest among them:

Halgrim Ironclad – The Hammer

Born beneath the mountains of the Red Rocks, Halgrim was the first of four siblings. While Orien Apollo battled the Night Beasts and laid the foundation of the Sun Kingdom, Halgrim and his companions stood against something far older…

Prometheus, the First Flame—a celestial being of magma whose only desire was to rise from the deep and see the sky.

That story comes next week.
