Whispers From the Veil
“Where the King walked, they followed.
Not as men. As flame. As thunder. As prophecy fulfilled.”
In the years after Orien Apollo drove back the Night Beasts and carved light into the world, warriors from every reach of the realm came seeking him. Some for glory. Some for absolution. Some simply to see if the stories were true.
Most were turned away.
But four knelt, and were never told to rise.
They became his shadows and his symbols. His wrath and his will.
They were called many things—the Crown’s Fangs, the Final Judgment, His Flameborne, but history will remember them as they were: The Four Horsemen of Apollo the First.
Each bore a title, not a name. Names were for commoners.
The Hammer — whose strikes broke walls and whose silence broke men.
The Dagger — who hunted the King’s enemies before they even drew breath.
The Warden — unbending, unbreaking, keeper of law so absolute it shattered kingdoms.
The Butcher — Scared, cruel, hategful. he spoke only the King’s will and almost always, it was the last thing you heard.
“Together, they rode not to conquer, but to remind the world what divine rule looked like.”
